Usage
Recharge Multipliers and Maxium Capacity
Artron Capacitors have different types. Each type has a different Recharge Modifier and Maximum Capacity.
Recharge modifiers multiply the amount of Artron Units that will be charged into the Tardis when the Refuel Control is Activated.
E.g. If a capacitor has a Recharge modifier of 0.5 and the Tardis normally recharges 10 AU per second, the Tardis will be able to draw 10 x 0.5 = 15 AU per second.
Maximum Capacity Increases the total number of Artron Units that the Tardis can hold.
Having multiple capacitors will increase the maximum capacity of the Tardis Artron Banks.
| Capacitor Type | Recharge Modifier | Maximum Capacity (AU) |
| 0.5 | 64 | |
| 1 | 128 | |
| 1 | 256 | |
| 0.2 | 32 |
Leaky Capacitors
When a player initially finds a Tardis, it will contain Leaky Artron Capacitors. These are defective Artron Capacitors that have a very slow recharge rate and low maximum capacity.
You cannot obtain these in survival mode.
However, when you miss the "Refuel" flight event during unstabilised flight mode, there is a 2% chance that one of your regular capacitors will turn into a leaky one as a result of your poor piloting.
Refuelling the Tardis
- Craft an Artron Capacitor
- Locate the Tardis Engine
- Open the red "Artron Panel" side of the Tardis Engine
- Place the Artron Capacitor inside the Artron Panel.
- You can place more than one Artron Capacitors. Each one will increase the maximum capacitor and recharge modifier.
- Close the GUI and active the Refuel Control.
