Creating your Tardis
Figure 1 - Tardis Coral |
As of 0.0.8A, players can grow their own Tardis by crafting a Tardis coral and Sub-system components.
Stage 1 - Growing the Tardis Coral
To grow the Tardis, place down the Tardis coral on any block and wait 2 Minecraft days. After 2 days has past, the player will receive a Tardis key and the player’s Tardis will materialize in the place of the coral.
Notes:
- If the Tardis coral is broken during growth, its growth progress will be interrupted.
- If the player's inventory is full at the time of the key being given, the Tardis key will be dropped onto the ground.
- If the player is offline when their Tardis has finished growing (for instance, on a multiplayer server), the Tardis key will be stored in the game and given to the player upon logging back in.
- If the player is in a Rift Chunk, the coral growth time is reduced to 1 Minecraft Day
- In worlds with cheats enabled, the coral growth can be accelerated by looking at the coral and typing the command
/tardis grow
Stage 2 - Crafting and Installing Sub-system components
Upon mature growth, the Tardis only contains Fluid Links and Dimensional Dams. Hence, the Tardis requires further upgrades in order to attain full operational status.
Flight Ready Status
To achieve flight-ready status, the following components must be crafted:
The circuit must then be installed by right clicking with the circuit on the Tardis console.
This allows players to fly the Tardis.
However, players are required to fly the Tardis manually due to the lack of other components such as stabilizers. (See Tardis Flight for further details on flight)
