Rift

Rifts are a unique type of chunk that can generate in any dimension.


Properties

Rifts greatly increase the refueling rate of the TARDIS, as well a cutting the time to grow one in half.

Generation

When generating chunks, there is a one in ten chance that any chunk will be a rift. 

Identification

A Rift chunk has no physical appearance. Currently, it can be identified by one of two methods:

Tardis Commands-1.12

To make life easier for users in creative or to help server administrators, the mod includes some commands as shown below.

/tardis grow

Once the TARDIS Coral is placed, you can make it grow instantly. To use this command, point the crosshairs at the Tardis Coral and type the command.

Usage

/tardis grow

/tardis transfer

Transfers ownership of your TARDIS to another person in your server.

Usage

/tardis transfer <newOwnerUsername>

/tardis interior

You don't know where the door of your TARDIS is anymore? Don't worry, you can teleport in.

Usage

  1. /tardis interior
  2. /tardis interior <online player's username>

Requirements and Permissions

The Dimensional Dams must have durability greater than 1% for this command to work

  1. To this command you need the following permission:
    tardis.command.teleportin

  2. To perform this command you need the following permission :
    tardis.command.tardistp

/tardis summon

This command will only work in 0.0.8A - 0.0.8A Patch 3. It will be replaced in functionality with /tardis restoresys and /tardis interior in 0.0.9+*

Forget where your TARDIS was? This command will summon the Tardis to your position.

/tardis summon

Permissions

To perform this command you need the following permission :
tardis.command.summontardis

/tardis remove

Are you tired of your TARDIS? You can delete it from the world. 

Usage

/tardis remove <ownerUsername>

Permissions

To perform this command you need the following permission :
tardis.command.removetardis

/tardis restoresys

This command allows for individual sub-systems to be fully repaired. 

Usage

Syntax:

  1. /tardis restoresys <subsystem1> <subsystem2> … (type the sub systems you want to repair)
    1. This usage repairs the Tardis sub-system of the player that executed the command
    2. Example 1: /tardis restoresys flight dimensional antenna - restores Flight System, Dimensional Dam, Interstitial Antenna
  2. /tardis restorsys <online player username> <subsystem1> <subsystem2> …

Permissions

To perform this command you need the following permission :
tardis.command.restoresys


Notes

* - /tardis summon can be substituted for /tardis restoresys <username> and /tardis interior <username> in 0.0.9+. Server administrators can use the /tardis restoresys <username> command to restore the target player's sub-systems, then use the /tardis interior <username> command to gain access to the targe player's console room. This will allow the administrator to fly the Tardis to the player.

  1. Insert Cinnabar Dust into the Alembic by right clicking with the dust on the Alembic. 
    1. Each Cinnabar Dust yields one Mercury Bottle
  2. Right click on the Alembic to obtain a Mercury Bottle.

Architectural Reconfiguration System-1.12.2

The Architectural Reconfiguration System (ARS) is a block that allows the player to obtain a variety of decoration blocks in exchange for the depletion of the Tardis' Artron banks.


Acquisition

The ARS block can be obtained by right clicking with a Minecraft egg on the Tardis console.

Each egg will provide one ARS block

Cinnabar Ore-1.12.2

Cinnabar Ore is an ore block that drops Cinnabar Dust.


Properties

Generation

Cinnabar Ore is generated in the Overworld in small veins of ore blocks.

Drops

BUG: In v0.0.8A Cinnabar Ore does not drop Cinnabar Dust when mined with a regular pickaxe. This issue has been fixed in future updates.

Usage

Transferring items

Items can be transferred between the Tardis interior and Tardis exterior or different positons within the Tardis interior dimension. 

Requirements:

Interior to Exterior Setup

Using Buildcraft Pipes

Starting Position Setup

  1. In the Tardis interior, place down a container block such as a chest. This will be the input source.
  2. Place down an Electric Interface Panel in the interior at least 3 blocks away from the container block
  3. Attach a Wooden pipe or an equivalent pipe to the container block so that it will extract items from the container block.
    1. The brown shaded part of the pipe extracts items from the block it is connected to.
    2. See the Buildcraft wiki for more information
  4. Place an engine such as a Redstone Engine to the Wooden Pipe
  5. Place a power source next to the engine.
  6. Connect a Stone or equivalent pipes to the Electric Interface Panel and the wooden pipe.
  7. Place items into the chest.

Destination Setup

  1. Place a container block at least 3 blocks away from the Tardis exterior. This is the output source.
  2. Connect a Wooden Pipe or an equivalent pipe to the top block of the Tardis Exterior
    1. The brown shaded part of the pipe extracts items from the block it is connected to.
    2. See the Buildcraft wiki for more information
  3. Place an engine such as a Redstone Engine to the Wooden Pipe.
  4. Place a power source next to the engine.
  5. Items should now transfer from the input source to the output source.

Using XNet Cables

Starting Position Setup

  1. In the Tardis interior, place down a container block such as a chest. This will be the input source.
  2. Place down an Electric Interface Panel in the interior at least 3 blocks away from the container block
  3. Attach any Xnet coloured connector to the container block.
  4. Attach a connector cable to the Electric Interface Panel using the same coloured cable as the previous cable.
  5. Place down a Xnet Controller block and connect it to the Panel-Container block network.
  6. Place an power source next to the Controller and connect it to the network
  7. Setup the Xnet network by first right clicking the Controller block. See the below instructions for further steps of this sample setup.
